If you could not protect yourself from a stroke, the less you can do is to be prepared, call for someone to come and help you. Memorize those stroke signs and pay attention to some signs that your body is sending to you.


There are two types of strokes, the first one and the more common one is ischemic strokes and the second one is hemorrhagic.

The first type is caused by narrowing or blocking of the blood vessel in the brain and that is reducing the blood flow. The second type is less common and it is caused by brain bleeding.

Stroke is the number 5 killer in the US, you should pay attention to everything unusual that is happening to your body.
The Function of the blood vessels is to carry oxygen and nutrients to the brain, so if they are blocked by clot or bursts a stroke will occur. This means that some piece of the brain will not get the oxygen they need to keep the brain cells alive, so it means the brain cells will die.

We all know that brain has many different functions when a stroke happens, the bloodcould not reach the different area that controls particular body function and that part of the body will not work as normal.

You should know the warning signs of stroke because you might help yourself or your friends and family when this happens. It is important to get medical help when you notice some of the signs of stroke.

According to experts the signs and symptoms can be different from on to another person because there can be different parts of the brain affected, but one all strokes have common is that they begin suddenly.

The most common stroke symptoms are:
  • breathing problems
  • pain
  • hiccup
  • personality changes
  • hallucinations
  • unconsciousness
  • epileptic attacks
  • sickness
  • lightheadedness or weakness
