Aronia in culinary

 Aronia is mainly used as cold pressed juice or syrup. From one kg. of fresh, undamaged fruit, we get about 600 milliliters thick juice, dark, almost black color, which is preserved by pasteurization in glass containers. This juice is consumed diluted with water or tea, and in raw form is consumed carefully, three times a day, in half or 50 ml glass. From aronia often can be made jams as well. After draining the juice, pulp with seeds and the bark id boiled, sweetened, and thus gets a tasty jam. There are many ways to exploit the fruits of aronia. Sweet, fruit yogurt, ice cream, fruit salads, wine … Jam or sweet are consumed smaller quantities, like honey because they are actually a kind of medicinal products derived directly from nature.




Recipe: Muffins with aronia
 ● 375 g flour
 ● 200 g sugar
 ● tablespoon baking powder
 ● tablespoon of baking soda
 ● 175 g butter
 ● egg
 ● yolk 
● 1.5 dl milk
 ● lemon peel 
● bag of vanilla sugar
 ● 100 g Aronia 
● 100 g white chocolate

Preparation time: 40 minutes.

 Preparation:
 Mix flour with sugar, baking powder, baking soda and vanilla sugar. In the mixture add the butter and stir until the mixture is well merged. In another bowl mix the milk, eggs and lemon zest, then mix easily. In bowl with flour add the berries and finely chopped chocolate and in the end mix everything very well. Pour into paper bags and and bake it 25 to 30 minutes at 200 degrees °C.
