Scientists have found that 55 out of 1668 diseases are closely related to the birth month of the patients, according to the American Time and the Italian Corriere della Sera.
The scientist Nikola Taloneti studies something a bit different from the conventional biological and molecular researches about human health.
Taloneti together with his team of researchers at the Medical Center of Columbia conducted a research on the link between the birth month and the susceptibility of developing certain disease.
They found that 55 out of 1668 diagnosed diseases are closely related to the birth month of the patients, and according to Taloneti, this is not a coincidence.
The scientists discovered a link between 16 diseases and birth month, and most of them were related to heart disease.
According to a research conducted on 1,7 million people, people born in January are likely to suffer from hypertension, those born in February are susceptible to atrial fibrillation, a condition that causes an irregular and abnormally fast heart rate.
Furthermore, it has been proved that those born in spring, such as in March, are prone to atherosclerosis, while those born in April are susceptible to asthma On the other hand, October is associated with mental illness, November with frequent infections, and December with bronchitis. (source)
