1. Banana Smoothie

This is one my favorite meals when I’m in a hurry. It makes the perfect afternoon snack or it can energize you in the morning.
All you’ll need is a fresh avocado, two slices of toast, limejuice, some salt, and some pepper.
After peeling your avocado, cut it in slices and place them on your toast. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and lime juice.
That’s it! You now have a powerful source of protein and the nutrients needed to feed a healthy brain. Did I mention it could help your body detox as well?
3. Roasted Cauliflower
Depending on how it was cooked when you were growing up, Cauliflower may sound unappealing to you. But did you know it could, if cooked right, make the perfect replacement to starchy potatoes?
Instead of sending your body into a stupor, it can help you feel energized and contribute to your body’s overall detox process.
Here are the ingredients you’ll need:
– 8 cups of cauliflower florets
– ¼ of a teaspoon of salt
– 1 teaspoon of dried marjoram
– Fresh ground pepper
– 2 tablespoons of organic olive oil
– 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
– ½ a cup of organic Parmesan cheese, make sure it’s shredded
Here are the simple instructions:
Start by preheating your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a large bowl, toss and mix the cauliflower florets, the pepper, salt, marjoram, and oil. Then place them on a baking sheet and put them into your oven for about 20 minutes.
Sprinkle the vinegar and cheese onto the cauliflower and return it to the oven for another 8 minutes.
Boom! You now have the perfect side dish.
4. Detox Salad Bowl
This particular salad is designed to give you all necessary carbs, proteins, and healthy fats to help you power through your day as your body works hard to detox.
This is what you’ll need:
– 2 cups of chopped organic kale
– ½ a cup of organic spinach
– ½ a cup of shredded carrots
– ½ cup of shredded cabbage
– ¼ of quinoa
– ¼ of chickpeas
– ½ of an avocado
– 1 chopped red bell pepper
– 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
– 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
– 2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar
Using a large bowl, start mixing the veggies, the quinoa, the chickpeas, and the avocado. Then mix the lemon juice, red wine vinegar, and mustard to then sprinkle it all over the bowl.
