Drink More Water
Your belly will be flatter if you discharge fluids. This can be done by drinking more water, for the body needs more water when is dehydrated. Try to drink no less than half of your body weight measured in ounces. For example if you weigh 120 lbs. you should drink 60 ounces of water every day.
Reduce Salt Intake
It is a fact that salt is very important and healthy additive, but its high amounts can lead to water retention and disproportion of salt and water, which will further on cause bloating. Excessive amounts of salt will also enter your body through processed foods, including snacks, fast foods, frozen dinner etc.
Stop Chewing Gums
If you want a flat belly, you should avoid chewing gums. This is due to the fact that when you chew gum, you gulp air which then goes into the stomach and it becomes bloated. Interestingly, but sugar- free gums are even worse.
