Lemonade With Turmeric – Best Natural Cure For Depression

Turmeric – Nature gave us turmeric which can fight against many diseases. Turmeric can help and prevent transformation of cells and development of cancerous cells. Turmeric helps with Alzheimer’s disease and helps in fighting skin cancer and lowers the bad cholesterol. Turmeric is also used in gastric disorders, arthritis, hepatitis, liver disease, acidosis and diarrhea.
On which way can turmeric fight depression?
There are several methods and drugs against depression and one of the most common of them on the market is the one called Prozac. But, this drugs are also known for causing serious side effects and most important of them are: bleeding in the stomach, difficulty while breathing and suicidal effects.
There are many studies on turmeric that reveal that its active ingredient curcumin, which is present in this root is very effective against depressive disorders in the same way as fluoxetine (Prozac) but, of course turmeric causes no side effects as the drug.
Recipe for lemonade with turmeric
  • 2 tablespoons of freshly grated turmeric or turmeric in powder
  • ½ juice from lemon or lime
  • 4 cups cold filtered water or sparkling water
  • 4 tablespoons of 100% maple syrup, honey or stevia (healthy alternative for sugar)
And by your choice add juice of 1 orange.
Mix all the ingredients well and drink it, the drink can be decorated with slice of lemon.
