EASY TO MAKE VANILLA CINNAMON ALMOND MILK RECIPE

Almond milk is a wonderful alternative for people who have intolerances to dairy and soy, or for vegans who would rather opt out of animal products entirely.It is made from ground almonds and is lower in calories than other milks as long as it is unsweetened. It’s also free of cholesterol, saturated fat, and is naturally lactose free.
It’s also low in sodium and high in healthy fats (such as omega fatty acids, typically found in fish), which helps to prevent high blood pressure and heart disease.

Vanilla Cinnamon Almond Milk – Recipe

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 3 1/2 cups filtered water
  • 2 to 4 pitted Medjool dates, to taste
  • 1 whole vanilla bean, chopped or 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • small pinch of sea salt
Instructions: (Watch the video below)
– Soak a cup of raw almonds overnight or for 8 hours or longer.
– Rinse and drain the almonds and put them into your blender along with 3-4 cups of filtered water, pitted dates, and vanilla beans.
– Blend for 1 minute on the highest speed.
– Place your milk bag over a large bowl and slowly pour in the milk.
– Gently squeeze the bottom of the bag to release the milk.
– Rinse out blender and pour the milk back in. Whisk in the cinnamon and sea salt.
– Pour into a large glass jar and secure lid. Store in the fridge (store in the coldest spot in the fridge).
Shake the jar well before drinking, as the mixture separates when sitting.

Note: It’s important to note that almond milk doesn’t provide as much protein or calcium to be a complete substitute, so make sure you receive adequate amounts from other sources.
