Many experts around the world highly recommend to consume the juice of watercress in a ratio of 1:5 (1 watercress juice and 5 parts of water). It is a powerful plant and it can cause an inflammation of the stomach and throat if you drink just pure watercress juice. Also, it is not recommended a daily usage, instead of that, consume it every other day.

The Watercress Salad

Watercress is extremely beneficial for external uses as well. You can use watercress to treat various skin conditions, skin impurities, hair loss, etc.
  • Chop the leaves of watercress into small pieces.
  • Before putting the compress, clean the affected area with alcohol.
  • After that put the leaves and bandage the area.
  • Keep the bandage for 2-4 hours.
  • Then remove it, wash the affected area and apply some oil on it.
