Wort’s period of blossoming is from May until August. You can find it on meadows, pastures, rocky reefs and it is great plant against different kinds of diseases.
In order to start making this amazing oil, you need to have freshly picked wort flowers. Put 100 grams of fresh wort flowers in 1 liter of oil. The most recommendable oil for this recipe is the olive oil. First, you need to let the flowers stand still over night. The next day store the flowers in a glass bottle and cover them with olive oil. Put gauze over the glass bottle as a lid and attach it with rubber band. After you did this, put the glass bottle on the sun for 40 days. From time to time check to see if all of the flowers are dipped in the oil. After those 40 days, drain the liquid through the gauze and squeeze out all of the oil in the flowers. Store the resulting oil in small glass bottles and close them good.
Attention: Never store the wort oil in the refrigerator, instead, store it in a dark place on a room temperature.
A good quality wort oil is with dark red color and sometimes with violet shades.
