Imagine then, if you were suddenly told that you have stomach cancer, and that it is quite serious. It has already spread to your neck, lymph nodes, and almost all your abdomen. The doctors have given you less than a month to survive. How then, are you going to say goodbye to your husband and children?
This lady never gave up
Natasha Grindley, 37, from Liverpool was diagnosed with the same kind of terminal cancer mentioned above. Healthcare providers have told Natasha that it seemed most likely that she would not make it to the end of the month. However, the mother of two refused to give up, and she accepted her diagnosis for what it was. She and her husband then started reading on cancer research thoroughly, to find a way out.
They knew that Natasha had to undergo chemo, but were aware of the side effects of chemo; that is can cause even more cancer. Natasha came across the author of Deliciously Ella, and started using proper nutrition to also defeat her cancer. She did all these while caring for her two young kids, and it was because of them, that she became obsessed in finding alternative treatments to cancer.
It was not just an alternative
Natasha’s significant dietary change helped her immediately. Even when on chemo, she started looking physically better, and her friends were amazed by the glow in her skin. The new diet helped change her perspective on the illness she had, and also improved her mental wellbeing.
The foods Natasha took help boost her immune system, and it made her body get prepared for the impending chemo. There was a positive difference to her physical and mental state because she changed her diet for the better.
Natasha’s success is not a big secret which had just been discovered. Many patients prior to her have also stopped and cured their cancer with juicing and major dietary changes. It is no big secret. The adjusting of diets, and reducing artificial sugars, potentially harmful meats, and increasing the ingestion of carrots and other vegetable products can help deal with their cancer diagnosis!
2 weeks was converted to 2 years and beyond
Natasha has beaten her clinical diagnosis, and she hopes to take these moments of her life to teach someone else in need. She hopes that the power of nutrition would help another person just as much as it had helped her. It is now 2 years since she was told about her clinical prognosis. She has beaten the doctors’ predictions, and she is still happy with her family. Natasha, who used to be a nursery teacher, had completed a higher education degree in nutrition, and she has started her own Facebook page to tell her story! It was the gratefulness to alternative therapies which led her to do this, and armed with her experience, and scientific knowledge, she hopes to teach people about the beneficial powers of dietary changes to cure various illnesses.
Cancer cannot be solely cured through diet, according to Natasha, and doctors. However, they are in agreement that major dietary changes with healthy foods can actually bring forth many positive benefits, especially for patients who are dealing with terminal illnesses. A diet rich in fresh, organic products boosts the immune system to fight, especially after the immune system has been suppressed by the diseases. It is important to be aware of the amount of fruits and veggies you are ingesting. Knowing so will give you a good benchmark as to how well your immune system is functioning!
