Few Things That You Should Know If You Have Problem With Hemorrhoids

Most often, the occurrence of hemorrhoids is not quite dangerous phenomenon but it can cause pain, itching, bleeding and other inconveniences. Fortunately, there are several ways which can be helpful.




What are actually the hemorrhoids?
The hemorrhoids are swollen, varicose veins in the rectum and in the end of the colon. There are two types of hemorrhoids: internal and external.
  • The internal hemorrhoids are usually painless. They appear in the lower rectum. They can cause bleeding, bright red color and you can usually spot it on your toilet paper or on the toilet itself.
  • The external hemorrhoids occur beneath the skin and around the anal opening. You can feel or see them, something similar like a limpet around the anus. This type can cause more discomfort because the skin around it may be irritated or shot.
Reasons for their appearance:
  • Chronic constipation
  • Long time spent in a sitting position
  • Strain in bowel movements
All this effects on the blood flow and can cause enlargement and swelling of the veins, actually occurrence of the hemorrhoids.
The hemorrhoids can be diagnosed through a simple review. The external hemorrhoids are visible to eyes. In addition, we present you few things for improving the condition of the hemorrhoids:
Exercise – the moderate daily exercise and walking are associated with incentives of the colon work.
Sit in hot water – sitting in hot water can reduce the itching and the irritation around the anal. Separate 20 minutes to do this after every bowel movement and in some cases if you have time do it frequently. After that, gently dry the area around the anus without friction.
Consume food rich in fiber – eat beans, broccoli, wheat, oat bran and fresh fruit. The fiber in combination with sufficient quality of water will soften the stool, which will facilitate up its discharge and reduce the pressure on hemorrhoids. The intake of fiber through supplements can reduce inflammation and bleeding of the hemorrhoids.
Do not postpone your toilet urge – whenever you feel need for bowel movement, do it immediately because if you postpone it later, the capital can be withdrawn and potentially cause more strain and pressure on hemorrhoids.
Creams for hemorrhoids, ice or pillow – the creams for hemorrhoids can relieve the pain. Also, ice can help you reduce the pain and the swollen area of the hemorrhoids. Instead of sitting on hard surface, place pillow and sit it on to reduce the swelling and prevent creation of the new ones.
